Socket Button Head Screws
What Are Metric Socket Button Head Screws ISO 7380-1
Metric socket button head screws are a type of socket screw, sometimes referred to as socket button heads or just button heads. They are often used in applications where a clean tidy finish is required.
Socket button heads are tightened and loosened by inserting an Allen key / hex key into the hex socket in the head. Although the hex socket is not quite as deep as that on a cap screw, it is still deep enough to get some good torque when fastening.
They are manufactured to the exacting standards of ISO 7380-1 which defines all applicable dimensions for each size. On top of that the metric threads are produced to the strict tolerances of the ISO 965-1 spec.

Difference Between Socket Button Heads and Socket Dome Head Screws
Socket dome heads screws and button heads are just different names for the same thing. People often call them socket dome head screws due to their dome-shaped heads.
These dome head screws are fairly unique in shape and design and are a great option if you need a screw that will add a nice finish to your application.
