M5 x 0.8mm Pitch (5mm thread diameter) Thick Type Nyloc Nuts ( Type P ). A Prevailing Torque type Nut, Manufactured from A2 304 Stainless Steel to DIN 982 / ISO 10512. Nyloc Nuts are commonly used when a secure connection is required. The added nylon insert is made slightly smaller diameter than the thread that is screwing into it, this provides friction and prevents the nut from coming loose. This is the higher type of Nyloc Nuts, we also stock the thinner type DIN 985 Manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel these offer good corrosion resistance and are almost non magnetic.
